Thought Field Therapy

TFT was discovered by Clinical Psychologist called Dr. Roger Callahan more than 30 years ago. It is a revolutionary way of treating emotional problems.
Whereas other therapies work on the symptoms of a problem, Thought Field Therapy works with the root cause. Imagine a weed in a garden. If you just cut the top off eventually new shoots will grow and the weed will be back. If you dig it up by the roots you are permanently eliminating it. This is how Thought Field Therapy works.

Reasons to choose TFT:

  • - it has no side effects,
  • - it is non-invasive and works very fast
  • - it is not unusual for a treatment to produce results in 15 minutes and it does not matter how long the problem has existed or how severe it is.
  • - the treatment is administered by the client, with the guidance of the Practitioner, through tapping a series of meridian points in the body. This puts the client in control
  • - it is officially recognised by the NHS Trust Association.

Thought Field Therapy has proved time and time again that it can rapidly and successfully treat phobias. It offers a solution that is unlike other methods in that it addresses the root cause of the phobia and then treats any subsequent fear associated with it. Once the root cause is treated, the remainder of the problem can be collapsed.

What will happen during treatment?

During a treatment a client is asked to think about their problem. They are asked to quantify how distressed they feel at that moment on a scale of 1-10, 1 representing no distress and 10 representing the highest level they can feel. There is no need to talk in detail about it. This makes Thought Field Therapy very useful in cases of trauma and delicate problems. The client is then taken through a specific sequence of tapping on their own body. Further sequences may be used and this continues until the level of distress is very low or completely gone, which is the usual result. Now when the client thinks about the same problem the distress is no longer there. The emotion has been switched off.

The investment: £60 per one hour session.
